Do you have any specific requirements for content?

The content requirements depend on what kind of disc or media you are trying to create*. Here are some of the formats that we support.

DATA Disc/USB/HDD can contain files and folders of any kind which will be copied onto media “as is” without additional formatting. The types of files typically used with this formatting might include photos, MP3 music, text files, documents, spreadsheets, installation files, compressed zip files or any kind of files you would normally use with your computer.

With an Audio Disc we support MP3, WAV, FLAC, and M4A files that will be converted “on the fly” to create an Audio CD for your computer, audio player, car or home stereo.

Video DVD format (currently, for API clients only) allows you to create customized photo slideshows or convert video files into a Video DVD format for the DVD players and other compatible devices.

Disc Image allows you to copy ISO, DMG, UDF, IMG and RMG image files to a disc. Please note that the GUID Partition Table formatting (e.g. Intel-based Mac bootable images) for disc images is not supported at the moment.

ZIP Archive supports extracting contents of original ZIP file onto a disc “on the fly”. The internal structure of provided ZIP file is replicated exactly. Note that ZIP file should be prepared using storing method, i.e. no compression, to correctly measure the size of the content and required media volume.

For our API integrations, we also support DYNAMIC content which allows specifying download links to product files on-demand with each order. Please contact us for more details about this method.

*Any product provided to CustomCD shall be subject to CustomCD’s Terms of Use, that you will be requested to accept when signing up for CustomCD’s services or online account. While we make every effort to maintain the reliability and quality of our services, we also ensure that uploaded content is copied exactly as it is provided. This means that if there are problems with the files or the files are originally corrupted, the problems will be reproduced in the resulting product. The client is responsible for the accuracy of the content. Returns are accepted only in case of a manufacturing defect.

How do I upload my content?
Depending upon our partnership specifics there are many options of how your content can be submitted. If you have access to the online Media Command Console account, you will be able to upload everything online. Otherwise, feel free to contact us directly and we can discuss the best options for you.
Can I mix static and dynamic content?
This option is available for the clients who use the CustomCD API Service. Static and dynamic content can be combined in one order (e.g. Product #1 with static content is burned on one disc and Product#2 with dynamic content is burned on another disc. These two products can be combined in one order.) We do not support the possibility of combining two types of content in one product (either product consists of one or several discs).
Where can you print registration keys for my software disc?
We can print registration keys on the disc face itself as well as on packaging. Our online Media Command Console allows you to add to your artwork texts or dynamic text placeholders if you submit orders via API.
